Auger Aliassime vs Alcaraz: who will advance to the semifinals?

In July, Auger Aliassime reached the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the first time in his career. Now he is playing in the quarterfinal of another Major. The Canadian tennis player is close to another personal record, but he faces a very dangerous opponent in this round of the US Open. Auger ALiassime hasn't had an easy campaign. He played more than three sets against all his opponents, except Bernabe Zapata, who was defeated in straight sets. On the way to the quarterfinals, Auger Aliassime passed Evgeny Donskoy, Roberto Bautista Agut, and Frances Tiafoe. 

Alcaraz is only 18 years old, but he has made it to the quarterfinals of the Grand Slam tournament. The young Spanish player has eliminated Stefanos Tsitsipas himself in the third round. Alcaraz also defeated Cameron Norrie, Artur Rinderknech, and Peter Gojowczyk. We can't say that he had it easy: he makes many mistakes, but always managed to recover. He lost a set 0-6 to Tsitsipas, but that didn't stop him. He made two comebacks against Gojowczyk, too. Alcaraz has a lot of mental strength and strong character.
