Belinda Bencic vs Iga Swiatek. Predictions and Betting Tips for US Open

In 2021 Belinda Bencic achieved a huge success - she won a golden medal at the Olympic Games. But Swiss player didn't stop after that and continued to perform successfully on tour. After a triumph at Tokyo she reached the quarter-final at Cincinnati. 

Bencic is looking great in New York so far. Victories in straight sets over Rus and Trevisan were not so surprising, they are too weak opponents for Bencic. But 6:2, 6:4 victory over Pegula confirmed that Bencic has a huge potential. We should remind that Swiss player performed at US Open for the most recent time in 2019, she reached the semi-final in that tournament.

Iga Swiatek put up a weak performance at the Olympic Games, where she was beaten in the second round by Badosa (3:6, 6:7). We should note that Polish player also failed to put up a good performance at Cincinnati, where she was beaten in the first round by Jabeur (3:6, 3:6).

Swiatek is not looking convincing at US Open so far. After a victory over Loeb (6:3, 6:4) she recorded victories in three sets over Ferro (3:6, 7:6, 6:0) and Kontaveit (6:3, 4:6, 6:3). After such an inconsistent performance it is hard to expect a success from her in a match against Bencic, who is in a great form.
