CSKA vs Dynamo Riga: what to expect?

CSKA started the new KHL season with the new head coach, Sergei Fedorov. The Army men played several test matches before the start of the season and haven't looked very impressive. They lost in the opening game of the league to Avangard, failing to score a single goal (0:4).

The Army men made 30 shots at the goal, but Avangard were never in real danger. Goalie Adam Reideborn looked lost and two of the goals were conceded as a result of his direct mistakes. In the upcoming fixture, the head coach might give a chance to Ivan Fedorov instead. 

In previous seasons, Dynamo Riga have always been at the bottom of the standings, and they have a massive disadvantage in class against their opponents. Despite this, Dynamo Riga had a good start to the season: they lost to Lokomotiv, but the game was quite close and intense, and Dynamo looked interesting (2:3).

In the first period, Dynamo had a comfortable advantage of two goals by the tenth minute. But they couldn't create anything else in attack for the rest of the game, and later conceded three goals in a row.
