So far everything is looking great for the Frenchmen - despite the slip-up in the match against Ukraine (1:1), they recorded an away victories over Bosnia and Herzegovina (1:0) and Kazakhstan (2:0) and reached the top position of the group.

A draw didn't affect the standings - France kept the first position with eight points. They are four points ahead of second-placed Ukraine.
