Mertens vs Jabeur: who is better prepared for the match?

In recent tournaments Elise Mertens was not looking impressive and failed to satisfy her fans. Tournaments at Montreal and Cincinnati were unsuccessful for her - Belgian player recorded only one victory, over Podoroska.

In two most recent New York tournaments Ons Jabeur was eliminated in the third round. Tunisian player surely wants to improve that result. She has a great chance to advance into the round of 16.

In first round Jabeur managed to record a victory in a contested match against Cornet (7:5, 7:5). Then Jabeur completely destroyed Osorio Serrano (6:1, 6:0), so African athlete is approaching the match against Mertens in a good mood.
