Sebastian Korda vs Stefanos Tsitsipas. Prediction and Betting Tips for ATP Cincinnati (August 19, 2021).

Command Analysis

This year Korda secured a place in the Top 50 of the ATP world ranking. He has shown solid and consistent results and climbed up to the 45th line. At the start of the tour, he played great on hard courts, so we expect his successful performance in Cincinnati.
Last week though Korda failed to achieve good results in Toronto. After defeating Vasek Pospisil (7-5, 6-4) he lost to Janik Sinner in two tie-breaks. Korda started his campaign in Cincinnati with an easy victory over Laslo Djere (6-4, 6-4).

Tsitsipas has been disappointing on hard courts. At the Tokyo Olympics, he lost to Ugo Humbert (6-2, 6-7, 2-6), and in Toronto, Tsitsipas was outplayed by Reilly Opelka (7-6, 6-7, 4-6). Many expected to see the Greek player in the finals of that tournament, but he couldn't cope with the opponent's huge serve.
Tsitsipas has never won in Cincinnati yet: he was defeated in the first rounds in 2018 and 2019, first by David Goffin, and then by Jan-Lennard Struff. Korda is the first opponent of Tsitsipas in the current competition.

Tip and bets
Korda's last crushing defeat happened at Roland Garros. But clay is not his favourite surface, he is much more dangerous on hard: Kord has a power serve and looks good in rallies. We believe that Tsitsipas is in for a difficult match and that the American player will put up a fight against the favourite.
Our prediction – handicap (+4) games to Korda.
Four out of seven latest matches of Tsitsipas had three sets. Both opponents have big serves, so we believe they will need three sets to determine the winner.
Second wager – total over 21,5 games.
