Borussia had a disappointing previous season - problems for Bumblebees started after the resignation of Lucien Favre. Team was in a long battle for the Champions League spot and eventually they won it over their today opponent, Eintracht. Borussia finished on a third spot. Edin Terzic also led the team to a victory in the German Cup - in the final match they beat Leipzig (4:1).
Marco Rose will be the manager of the team since the current season, it was announced in the beginning of the year. Bumblebees have lost some players during the off-season - Jadon Sancho was sold to Manchester United, Lukasz Piszczek left to finish his career at his homeland. Borussia bought a talented forward Donyell Malen from PSV, but it looks like he will be in the shadow of Erling Haaland for some time.
Borussia have already played the first official match under the management of Rose - they beat Wehen in the German Cup (3:0).
Eintracht performed brilliantly in the previous season, but fell a little short in the end. After a 2:1 victory over Borussia Dortmund in Round 27 Eagles had a seven-point handicap from the Bumblebees and a Champions League spot was almost at their hands, but an ending of the season was a complete disaster and team from Frankfurt finished only fifth.
Eintracht will start the new season with a new head coach, Oliver Glasner. Eagles will also have to do without their best goalscorer. Andre Silva, who scored 28 goals in the previous Bundesliga season, was sold to Leipzig for 28 million euros.
He will be replaced by the Colombian player Rafael Borre, forward played great for River Plate and got the second chance in the European football, previously he failed to break into the first team of Villarreal.
Glasner completely failed his first match as an Eintracht manager - Eagles were unexpectedly beaten by Mannheim (0:2) in the first round of German Cup.

Borussia plays offensively and we don't think that Marco Rose will change that - Bumblebees have a wonderful offensive line. Eintracht's form is far from perfect, so they will probably concede a number of goals, but they should be able to score a consolation goal as well.
