Rostov vs CSKA: which team will be stronger?

Already in the first round, Rostov faced a very serious opponent, Dynamo Moscow. They made two mistakes in the first half which resulted in two conceded goals, and Rostov never recovered from that, despite multiple efforts. There were no chances against Zenit either - this time Rosotv scored twice, but that didn't help: they lost 2:4 at home to the defending champion.

Rostov could have scored their first victory in the third round under the management of Yuri Semin. At the beginning of the game, Nikolay Komlichenko used his chance and scored against Khimki. However, Rostov couldn't keep the advantage - in the middle of the second half, they conceded a penalty. The game ended in a draw (1:1).

CSKA entered the new season under the management of Alexei Berezutsky. In the first round, the Army men beat Ufa 1:0 at home. However, the favourite did not have a serious advantage in the game, which must have alarmed the fans. The fears came true in the second round - in the derby CSKA lost 1:2 to Lokomotiv, giving a very weak performance.

In the third round, CSKA opened the scoring against Dynamo but allowed the opponents to make a comeback in the second half. Dynamo scored two goals and defeated CSKA with a score of 1:2. CSKA currently occupy 10th place in the table, just two points above the relegation zone.
