Jelena Ostapenko vs Katerina Siniakova. Predictions and Betting Tips for WTA Montreal

Jelena Ostapenko is having an another inconsistent season, only sometimes she puts up a good performance and acheieves decent results. We can note the quarter-final of clay tournament in Rome and a title of Eastbourne tournament on the grass. Other tournaments were not so successful. For example, Jelena reached the third round of Wimbledon and then was unexpectedly beaten by Ajla Tomljanovic. 

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo Jelena was an obvious favourite in the first round match against Vesnina. But eventually Latvian player was beaten in a long match (4:6, 7:6, 4:6). After that failure Latvia representative took a long break and now she arrived to Montreal. Ostapenko participated in that tournament two times, but on both occassions she was beaten in the first round.

Katerina Siniakova is not looking great on tour during the last two months. Only since April Czech player started to impress with her results on some tournaments. She reached the semi-final of Parma tournament on clay, then she reached the final of grass tournament in Bad-Homburg.

Siniakova didn't participate on women's singles tournament at the Olympic Games. But she won the gold medal of doubles tournament with Krejcikova. So Katerina is coming to Montreal after a short break and in a good mood. Just like her opponent, Czech player participated on that tournament two times and on both occassions was beaten in the first round.
