Iga Swiatek secured her position in the Top-10 and she is currently on the eighth place of WTA rankings. Polish player won two titles, on hard surface at Adelaide and on clay at Rome.

At the Olympics in Tokyo Iga started with an unsurprising win over Mona Barthel (6:2, 6:2). Swiatek needed just one hour for a victory. We should mention that Polish player gave away two out of four games on her serve, which is a bad sign.

It is the best season in Paula Badosa's career and she has reached the Top-30 of WTA rankings. Spanish player won a title at clay tournament in Belgrade. Overall, since the start of the year she won 27 matches and had 10 defeats. 

In the first match at Tokyo Paula had an experienced opponent - Kristina Mladenovic. Spaniard needed some time to adapt to the local court, but after a defeat in the first set she mounted a comeback and beat the Frenchwoman (6:7, 6:3, 6:0). In the whole match Badosa lost only two games on her serve.
