Natalia Vikhlyantseva vs Astra Sharma. Predictions and Betting Tips for WTA Palermo

Before the start of Lausanne tournament in the previous week Natalia Vikhlyantseva had only two victories on tour since the start of the year. In Switzerland Russian player put up a decent performance and reached the quarter-final. On that competition Natalia beat Zavatska (4:6, 6:4, 6:0) and Paolini (6:1, 6:3).

In the first round of the current tournament Russian player had a weak opponent, Kung. Vikhlyantseva recorded an easy victory in straight sets (6:3, 6:2).

2021 is a special year for Astra Sharma. Australian player has won the first WTA title in her career. It happened in April, she became a winner of Charleston tournament. 

A tournament in Palermo is a third clay competition in a row for Sharma this summer. In Hamburg she was beaten by Bonaventure in the first round. In the previous week Astra reached the second round of Lausanne tournament, starting from qualification.

In the first round of Palermo tournament Sharma beat Stefanini (6:4, 1:6, 6:3). Aussie's main weakness is her inconsistence. But she rarely leaves the court without a fight. Each of eight most recent Astra's matches was going on for three sets.
