Bara vs Errani: will Sara record a victory?

Representative of Romanian tennis Irina Bara, just like the most of her compatriots, is playing the majority of her matches on clay. It is her favourite surface. But she is not so successful on WTA level. The highlight of that season is the semi-final of a low-ranked tournament at Bol, Croatia.

Bara is approaching the start of a Budapest tournament after a failure at Hamburg tournament on the previous week. Romanian player was beaten by Kristina Pliskova in the first round (2:6, 6:7).

For the entire season Sara Errani is trying to climb back into the Top-100. Tournament at Hungary is another step in that direction for her. We should remember that Sara has already won a trophy of that tournament in 2012. Back then, she beat Elena Vesnina in the final (7:5, 6:4).

Errani is approaching the tournament in a good form. On a previous week she performed well at Hamburg. In the main draw of German tournament she beat Fiona Ferro (7:5, 6:3) and Ana Konjuh (7:6, 6:3). After that Sara was beaten by Dayana Yastremska (6:7, 4:6).
