In the first round she played against Zhang Shuai (6:3, 6:3). In the second round Karolina experienced some problems in the match against Camila Giorgi (6:3, 5:7, 6:3). In the third round a fairly even match against Pavlyuchenkova ended in Muchova's favour (7:5, 6:3).
