In Mallorca, Daniil won the trophy, one by one defeating strong athletes, such as Corentin Moutet (6-4, 6-2), Casper Ruud (7-5, 6-1), Pablo Carreno-Busta (3-6, 6-3, 6 -2), and Sam Querrey (6-4, 6-2).
In 2019, Medvedev did not perform well at Wimbledon. He lost already in the third round to David Goffin.
