Uruguay vs Paraguay: three points to the favourite?

Uruguay played very poorly in the starting segment of Copa America - Oscar Tabares' team lost 0:1 to Argentina, and they made no shots on target in the whole game. In the second round, Uruguay managed to score a point in the game against Chile - the game ended in a 1:1 draw in Cuiaba.

Uruguay won their first game at the tournament in the previous round - Bolivia was easily defeated with a score of 2:0, although the Uruguayans could have scored more as they had enough chances. Three points provided them with a ticket to the playoffs.

Paraguay beat Bolivia in a difficult opening game of the tournament with a score of 3:1. Eduardo Berisso's team lost the first half but took advantage of the opponent's red card in the second half. The 0:1 defeat from Argentina did not hit the Red and Whites too hard - already in the next game, they beat the Chilean national team with a score of 2:0 and secured their qualification for the knockouts.
