Kasatkina vs Swiatek: who will advance further?
At Eastbourne tournament, in the round of 16 Daria Kasatkina will play against Iga Swiatek. Is Russian player ready to extend her success on the grass? The answer is in our expert's prediction.

Command Analysis

Daria Kasatkina

Daria Kasatkina is playing on grass courts for the second consecutive week. In the previous week Russian player reached the final at Birmingham. Unfortunately for Daria's fans, Ons Jabeur didn't let her win a third title of the season (5:7, 4:6).
In the first round of Eastbourne tournament Kasatkina played against her experienced compatriot, Vera Zvonareva. In the first set Daria barely avoided a defeat and in the second one Vera retired from the match because of injury.

Iga Swiatek

Iga Swiatek couldn't defend her Roland Garros title, losing to Maria Sakkari in the quarter-final (4:6, 4:6). Polish player took a two-week break to rest after the difficult clay part of the season and was preparing herself for the transition to the grass.
In her first match on the grass surface at Eastbourne Iga was looking not so confident. She was playing against the local player, Heather Watson. Swiatek needed to play three sets to secure a victory (6:3, 6:7, 7:5).

Iga Swiatek experienced some problems in a transition to the grass and barely avoided a defeat in her first match. We are expecting Polish player to improve her performance in the second match, especially on her serve.
Kasatkina was not looking impressive in the first set against Zvonareva. Plus Polish player has a powerful first serve. In our prediction we are expecting a win from the bookmakers' favourite.
Our prediction - Swiatek to win
Daria is unlikely to leave the court without a fight, it is not in her style. Plus Swiatek is not in a perfect form now, so we can expect a high number of games played.
Our second bet is on total over 21 games
