Medvedev vs Ruud: will the Norwegian create problems for Daniil?

Medvedev has started without confidence on grass courts. Last week, Daniel took part in the Halle Open and was knocked out after the first round. At the start of the tournament, the Russian lost to Jan-Lennard Struff in straight sets (6-7, 3-6). Medvedev also had a shaky opening match in Mallorca against Corentin Moutet. Daniil was losing in the first set with a score of 1-4, but in the end, he still managed to close the match in two sets (6-4, 6-2).

Ruud's preferred surface is clay, but he has had decent results in the recent grass tournaments. Before the tournament in Mallorca, the Norwegian did not have a single victory on grass, while losing two matches. Nevertheless, in the current competition, Ruud has success: in the first round in Mallorca, Casper beat Gilles Simon in two sets (6-4, 7-6), and in the second round he outplayed Tennys Sandgren also in two sets (6-3, 6-4).
