In Birmingham Jabeur won four matches. She defeated McNally, Watson and Potapova in straight sets. The most difficult match for Tunisian player was in the round of 16 against Fernandez. She managed to record a win only on a tiebreak in the decisive set (6:4, 3:6, 7:6).
We should note that Jabeur already played two matches against Kasatkina, but failed to record a win. Last match was in the final of a Kremlin Cup in 2018 (6:2, 6:7, 4:6).
