Elena Rybakina vs Shelby Rogers. Predictions and Betting Tips for WTA German Open

Before the start of Roland Garros Elena Rybakina was not looking great and won only one match on clay surface. But at Paris the Kazakhstan representative proved that she is strong enough to be the 21th player in WTA rankings and reached the quarter-final. Elena was extremely close to a victory in the match against the eventual finalist, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (7:6, 2:6, 7:9).

In Berlin Rybakina will play her first match on the grass during this season. So far she played only nine matches on that surface, all of them were in 2019 and she won seven of them. Elena's style of play and her powerful serve are a great fit for fast surfaces.

Shelby Rogers is having a decent season. 28-year old player got back to Top-50, the main highlight of the current season for is a performance at Australian Open, where she reached the round of 16. Unfortunately for Shelby, she couldn't repeat that result at Roland Garros. American player had an advantage in the first round against Peterson, but eventually her opponent got back into the game and eventually took the victory in the match (7:6, 6:7, 2:6).

Just like her opponent, Shelby will play her first match on the grass in 2021. We can't say that American is comfortable on that surface. Throughout her career, she had 28 matches on the grass and won only 11 of them.
