Sloane Stephens vs Barbora Krejcikova. Predictions and Betting Tips for WTA Roland Garros

Sloane Stephens is a runner-up of 2018 Roland Garros and a quarter-finalist of a 2019 Roland Garros. In the previous year American player performed unsuccessfuly at Paris and was eliminated in the second round. Before the start of the current tournament Sloane was not considered a favourite, but her performance surprised everyone.

In the first round Stephens clinched a very tough victory in a match against Carla Suarez Navarro (3:6, 7:6, 6:4). After that she managed to defeat two Czech players, Karolina Pliskova and then Karolina Muchova. Both matches went pretty easy for Sloane, she didn't gave away a single set. Now American is on a great form, seems like she knows how to play well in Paris.

Just like in the previous year, Barbora Krejcikova reached the round of 16 in Paris and that is her best result here. Back then, she lost on that stage to Nadia Podoroska (6:2, 2:6, 3:6). This time Barbora gained excellent form for the start of Roland Garros. We should remind that Czech player claimed a title at Strasbourg tournament and she is currently on the eight-game winning streak. 

In Paris Krejcikova had a difficult road to the round of 16 - she had to beat Kristina Pliskova, Ekaterina Alexandrova and Elina Svitolina. In three matches she lost only one set, to her compatriot Pliskova (5:7, 6:4, 6:2). Many fans thought that Krejcikova won't be able to beat Svitolina, but Barbora secured a confident win (6:3, 6:2).
