Kostyuk vs Swiatek: no chance for Marta?

Marta Kostyuk's most difficult opponent was Garbine Muguruza in the first round. Despite all the predictions, Ukraine representative beat the Spaniard with a 6:1, 6:4 score. Next opponents were not so strong, so Marta confirmed her favourite status in the matches against Zheng Saisai (6:3, 6:4) and Varvara Gracheva (6:1, 6:2), which we had a prediction on.

Iga Swiatek is on her way to defending her previous year Paris title. Polish player gained an excellent form for the start of Roland Garros, winning the title in Rome tournament. Iga's current winning streak is on nine matches. Moreover, she lost only one set during that run.

In Paris Swiatek beat Juvan (6:0, 7:5) and Peterson (6:1, 6:1) in first two rounds. In the third round match against Anett Kontaveit Polish player was close to a defeat in the first set, but eventually secured a win (7:6, 6:0).
