Islanders vs Boston. Prediction and Betting Tips for NHL

The Islanders had a solid series against Pittsburgh and deservedly won it, moving to the quarterfinals of the Stanley Cup. However, it has always been very difficult for the team to play against Boston. The Islanders have always struggled to make use of their attacking chances against the Bruins. After the defeat in the first game of the series, Barry Trotz's men scored a win in the return match (4:3 OT), leveling the score in the series.

But at home, even the support of their fans didn't help the Islanders to beat Boston. Mathew Barzal scored an equalizer a few minutes before the end of the third period, but already on the fourth minute of overtime, the Islanders conceded. Semyon Varlamov was tending the goal and he stopped 39 shots in total.

Boston clearly have set the highest goal for themselves this season and want to, at the very least, play in the Stanley Cup Final. The team has a balanced lineup, and they have been playing without any major failures. We would like to emphasize that during the playoffs, the Bruins have never lost in regulation.

David Pastrňák has already scored ten points with five goals and five assists. Tuukka Rask is irreplaceable at the goal and has gained an excellent form, so Bruce Cassidy will certainly trust him to be the main goaltender in the upcoming games, too.
