Sweden are in danger of not qualifying for the playoffs. Right now they are on the sixth line of the standings with six points in the asset. Sweden beat the uncomfortable opponent in the face of Switzerland with a crushing score of 7:0, but in the following game, they lost to the Czech Republic (2:4). 

Of course, Tre Kronor had to earn three points in the game against Great Britain, which they did, beating the British 4:1. But the Swedish national team lacks stability: in one game they defend excellently, but couldn't score, and in the next, they are formidable in attack but are quite weak in defense.

Slovakia are in first place on the table of group A with 12 points. They won four out of five games, and after a major defeat from Switzerland (1:8) managed to pull themselves together and dealt with Denmark with a score of 2:0. The game against the Danes turned out to be very tense since both teams had good attacking chances.

However, the Slovaks were more successful at taking advantage of their chances. If you do not take into account their loss to Switzerland, we can say that Craig Ramsay's charges are very impressive in defense and concede no more than two goals per game. At the moment, the Slovak national team has every chance of getting into the playoffs from the first position.
