Germany vs Finland: how will the Germans perform?

Germany, after four matches played, occupy the second line of the standings and have nine points in the asset. The German national team is the most productive in its group, having scored 19 goals in total. The Germans were on a three-game winning streak, and even dealt with Canada (3:1), but suffered a completely unnecessary defeat from Kazakhstan with a score of 2:3.

Perhaps, after the victory over Canada, Toni Söderholm's charges had a relaxed approach to the game against the Kazakhstanis and underestimated the opponent, for which they paid in the end. They have games against the strong teams ahead, and it is very important for the Germans to score at least half of all possible points.

Finland so far are the strongest-looking European team and they deserve their first place in the group with ten points. Suomi sensationally lost to Kazakhstan in the shootout (1:2 B), but celebrated success in the rest of the fixtures.

Suomi scored two landslide victories against much weaker Norway and Italy, (5: 2 and 3: 0, respectively). It is difficult to say which of the players in the squad is the best, because the Finns have always been famous for their teamwork, and all hockey players made contributions to the success of the Finnish national team.
