Belarus vs Switzerland: let's bet on the favourite

Belarus occupy the last line of the group A standings with just four points. The Belarusian national team achieved a sensational victory over Sweden (1:0), but they also unexpectedly lost to Great Britain with a score of 3:4. If Belarus had earned points in that game, they probably would not have fallen to the last place.

However, even in a game against Denmark, who are Belarus's equals, Mikhail Zakharov's men experienced some problems and conceded a total of five goals - 2:5. The team experiences the greatest difficulties in defense at this tournament and concede at least three goals in almost every game.

Switzerland have games against the outsiders ahead, so they probably will easily secure a ticket to the playoffs. At the moment, they are in second place with nine points. The Swiss show consistent results and they have so far only lost to such formidable opponents as Sweden (0:7) and Russia (1:4).

Patrick Fischer's squad defeated Slovakia, leaving them without a single chance - 8:1. And in the game against the Russians, they also looked good and fought until the end, but the performance skills of the opponent's attackers were superior. Despite this, Switzerland still have the opportunity to take the second line, if they win the two remaining matches.
