Mainz vs Hertha: who's the favourite?

Mainz had a terrible first part of the season and found themselves in a relegation zone - Carnival club was considered as a team that will be relegated right after Schalke. But everything changed after Bo Svensson took over - he became team's third head coach in space of one season and the only, who gave a positive result right away.

Mainz is currently on 12th place in the standings with 34 points, five points above the relegation play-off zone, but Koln has one game in hand. This is not that big of a handicap, but fans are hoping for a successful finish of the season.

Hertha is having a weak season and has a solid chance to be relegated at the end of the campaign. The Old Lady is currently on the second place from the bottom of the standing and has only 26 points. Pal Dardai's team is three points behind relegation play-off zone and the completely safe 15th position is in four points away from Hertha.

But in comparision with another teams in relegation battle, Hertha has three games in hand, so they have high chances to avoid relegation. Last Hertha's game finished in a draw against Borussia Monchengladbach (2:2). Coits managed to save a point despite they were down to 10-man.

Hertha missed last few games because of many players were down with coronavirus. Rune Jarstein, Dodi Lukebakio and Marvin Plattenhardt are still unavailable to play.
