Winnipeg vs Edmonton. Prediction and Betting Tips for NHL (April 29, 2021).

Command Analysis

Winnipeg are ranked third in the Northern Division and are one of the top contenders for the playoffs this season. The Jets, however, are far from being in their best form and have suffered four defeats in a row. They yielded to Edmonton twice (0:3 and 1:6), and also had hard luck against Toronto, losing 3:5 and then 1:4.
All of those defeats the Jets suffered at home. Previously, Paul Maurice's squad did not let themselves to be beaten more than twice in a row. Now they struggle to use their attacking chances, and in the previous three games out of four, they have scored less than two goals.

Edmonton have settled on the second line of the Northern Division and still have a couple of games in hand, so they feel very comfortable and not challenged by Winnipeg. The Oilers have not had a long streak of victories lately, but they still win much more often than they lose.
Before the game against the Jets, they beat Montreal at home (4:1), however, in the return match they lost with a score of 3:4. Still, at home and away, Dave Tippett's squad shows approximately the same results. The only thing worth mentioning is that away Edmonton concede a little less, on average about two goals.

Tip and bets
Winnipeg are in bad form right now and are on a four-game losing streak. Edmonton won the last two games with the Jets, therefore, in our opinion, they are the favorites in this fixture. In addition, the Jets have recently been struggling to use their chances.
Our prediction - Edmonton to win.
The Oilers almost always score a lot and rarely leave the court without lighting the lamp at least three times. In the previous game against the Jets, they scored six goals, so we propose to bet on their individual total.
We bet on Edmonton's individual total over 2.5 goals.
