Kostyuk vs Cirstea. Predictions and Betting Tips for WTA Istanbul

18-year old Marta Kostyuk is playing in the WTA tour semi-final for the second time of the season. In January at Abu-Dhabi Ukrainian player failed to advance through semi-final falling to Veronica Kudermetova (6:7, 4:6). But after the coronavirus and couple of unfortunate matches Marta is on a great form again.

On her road to the semi-final Ukrainian representative had a couple of scary opponents. In first two rounds she defeated Russians Rakhimova (6:4, 6:3) and Kasatkina (6:3, 7:5). But the hardest match for the Ukrainian player was a quarter-final against Ana Konjuh (7:5, 4:6, 6:3). It was a long match with many mistakes from both players and Marta is probably exhausted now. 

Romanian player Cirstea is having a best tournament of this season. She never considered as a title contender, but she surely improved her game during the tournament. Of course she got a little lucky: her quarter-final opponent Fiona Ferro has withdrawn from the match during the game.

On her road to the quarter-final Cirstea overcame Kozlova (6:4, 7:6) and Potapova (7:6, 6:4). Worth noting that Sorana won both tie-breaks and managed to play better in crucial moments of the games due to her advantage in experience over her younger opponents.
