Djokovic for another time proved his reputation of a shaky player on clay. Serbian had a terrible start of the season on that surface. At Monte-Carlo he was knocked out on the second round. In first one he defeated Italian player Sinner (6:4, 6:2) and then sensationally lost to Daniel Evans (4:6, 5:7).
At Belgrade Djokovic have to redeem himself. He need a best performance in his homeland. He won this tournament last time in 2011. Can he reclaim the title?
Kwon's debut games on clay were not so long ago. Before the start of the clay season no one had high expectations for him, but Korean's play made everyone respect him. At Marbella he managed to beat Holger Rune (6:3, 3:6, 7:6) and Facundo Bagnis (6:1, 6:3). But he didn't find a way to defeat Carreno-Busta (4:6, 0:6).
Kwon started the Belgrade tournament on a high level. He managed to knock out of tournament the Spanish player Carballes Baena (7:5, 6:3).
Tip and bets
Djokovic is a favourite in his homeland tournament and will be the main contender to win the title. But his recent form is pretty doubtful. At Monte-Carlo he wasn't that invinsible player who he used to be in the beginning of the year.
Of course we think that Novak will win this game. Korean is unlikely to beat the best tennis player in the world right now. But Kwon proved that he can't be underestimated, so he can cause some problems to Novak.
