The real breakthrough has occurred in recent years. In December 2023, he effectively stopped Montana Lava in the sixth round. His victory over Subriel Mathias in the summer of 2024 sounded even louder. At that time, Paro was considered an underdog, but he confidently outboxed the champion and won the IBF title. However, it was not possible to keep the belt for a long time. Already in the first defense, the Australian lost to Richardson Hitchins by a split decision.

After that, he quickly returned to the winning path, knocking out Jonathan Navarro and defeating Papot.
