Korda continues to improve. This year, the young American managed to win a number of competitions and is now ranked 50th. In the first two rounds of the current Major, Sebastian played with serious opponents, but he did not experience any problems. First, he sent Alex De Minaur home (6-3, 6-4, 6-7, 7-6) and then outplayed Antoine Joannier (7-5, 6-4, 6-4).
