Sergey Kovalev last entered the ring in May 2024 and, alas, lost by unanimous decision to Robin Safar, and even went down in the final round. This was only his second fight since November 2019 — the pauses, friends, are making themselves felt. Sergey is 42, but he holds the WBO, WBA, IBF, and IBA championship belts. Record: 22 wins (13 by knockout), four losses. He has played 147 rounds since 2015, is 186 cm tall, slightly taller than Kovalev. His first defeat was by TKO from Kevin Lerena in 2019, then he lost to Mairis Briedis (IBF), Evgeny Tishchenko and Muslim Gadzhimagomedov. But he has victories over Leon Hart, Alexander Pyle, Nikodem Yezhevsky and Valery Brudov. Mann is going for a series of four knockouts.
